I stopped in at Pete's after having a bad experience at the place I usually sell gold. This time they had asked me to pay upfront to have my items appraised, since the machine they now use was new and they probably need to pay it off. When I walked in Pete's they were quite businesslike and looked carefully at about 20 pieces I brought in, and acid tested all of them, except one which was visually eliminated. They gave me a written price for each item and did not pressure me to sell them - even explained the profit margin, which never happens. Great shop, I will be back.
